Doolittle's Caravan & Camping Site is for adults only and is part of a 10 acre sheep smallholding complete with orchards, hens and ducks. It has excellent facilities for a small site (only 12 large pitches all with electric hook-ups)) and is owned and run by the Turney family (Wendy, John and their children, Liz and Dave). It is situated in the beautiful and historic village of North Curry which lies on the edge of a spectacular area of moors and has international status as one of the most important wetlands of its type in the world. An RSPB reserve is alongside the campsite and there are over 50 miles of footpaths within the parish.

It is an ideal centre for visiting Cheddar, Glastonbury, the Quantocks, the Mendips, Porlock Weir, Exmoor, Minehead, the small fishing towns of Beer or Lyme Regis or for breaking a long journey to Cornwall as we are only 10 minutes from Junction 25 of the M5.

North Curry is a large, pretty, conservation village that boasts an excellent pub that caters for all tastes and budgets.  There are also a well-stocked shop, post office, hairdressers, brewery and community coffee shop in the village square. It is an easy level walk from Doolittle's to the centre of the village. This thriving community also benefits from a health centre and village hall.  The playing field and cricket pavilion are almost alongside the campsite - often booked by campers for their family parties.

The area around North Curry is famous for its willow-growing, basket-making, orchards and cider-making industries.
